Job description

We're seeking a talented Video Editor to join our content team. The video editor will be responsible for designing, editing, and producing engaging video content to support our marketing and social media efforts. This position will kick off reporting to the Executive Creative Director then transition to the Director of Content and work closely with the content team to create compelling video content for a variety of platforms.

This position requires availability as well as the flexibility to be available for ad-hoc design requests during normal business hours. The schedule will vary and may include some weekend and holiday work.

Responsibilities Include

Design, edit, and produce high-quality video and static content for various platforms, including social media, streaming platforms, and more

Edit footage and audio to create compelling and engaging video content that resonates with our target audience

Collaborate with the content team to develop creative concepts and ideas for video content that aligns with brand guidelines and voice

Ensure all video content is on-brand and meets company standards for quality and style

Work closely with the content team to develop and execute on organic content plans

Contribute to daily clipping and distributing long and short-form content and create graphics to support live programming and other content streams

Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices in video editing and content creation

Manage video assets and maintain an organized library of content

Ensure all video content meets legal requirements and follows industry regulations

Assist with video equipment setup and troubleshooting, as needed

Qualifications & Preferred Skills

1+ years of experience in video editing and production, preferably in a marketing or advertising environment

Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or other video editing software

Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, or other design software a plus

Strong creative vision and the ability to execute on that vision

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Experience with social media platforms and video distribution channels

Track record of being a self starter

Online portfolio of work

Strong interest/knowledge in Daily Fantasy Sports & Esports
