VP Programmatic Revenue, Hearst Newspapers

Overview:

We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Vice President Programmatic Revenue to lead our network revenue strategy and execution across all of Hearst Newspapers. The Vice President Programmatic Revenue will work closely with senior leadership and product teams to drive programmatic revenue growth through product innovation, insights and analysis, strategic partnership management, and efficient and modern operations. Further, this role will build toward a vision with a modern architecture that allows a comprehensive view on user yield, and dynamic yield management.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute programmatic revenue strategies that align with the company’s overall goals and objectives.

• Establish and manage relationships with programmatic partners, including exchanges, demand-side, native and video platforms.

• Monitor and optimize programmatic revenue performance across multiple platforms, including display, video, and mobile.

• Develop and implement new programmatic revenue models and revenue streams.

• Oversee and manage programmatic ad operations, including trafficking, optimization, and reporting.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in programmatic advertising.

• Provide leadership and expertise across the organization on these revenue channels.

• Prepare expert analysis and reporting

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency
  

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in programmatic advertising, with a proven track record of driving yield growth.

• Strong knowledge of programmatic advertising platforms, including exchanges, demand-side platforms, and data providers.

• Experience managing programmatic partnerships and negotiating revenue share agreements.

• Demonstrated ability to analyze programmatic revenue data and make data-driven decisions.

• Strong leadership and mentorship skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  

In accordance with applicable law, Hearst is required to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role if hired in New York City. The reasonable estimate, if hired in New York, is $175,000K to $200,000K. Please note this information is specific to those hired in New York. If this role is open to candidates outside of New York, the salary range would be aligned to that specific location. A final decision on the successful candidate’s starting salary will be based on a number of permissible, non-discriminatory factors, including but not limited to skills and experience, training, certifications, and education.
