Hiring an Inventory Clerk in Escondido to start next week!

Hours: 1st shift 6:00am - 4:30pm + overtime

Pay: $25 - $28.00/hr DOE

Description:

Summary: Under limited supervision, performs all inventory control activities for production using NAV ERP system. Responsible for daily cycle counts, picking work orders, putting away materials as needed, setting up bins and replenishing materials in production kanbans.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for inventory accuracy.
• Conduct cycle counts and analyze discrepancies while working with the planning group and warehouse
• Analyze inventory including discrepancies from cycle counts and production reporting to determine disposition as well as process improvement to lead to more accurate inventory
• Process production paperwork and close out daily production materials
• Manage transactions in NAV – review, monitor and manage consumption of raw materials and cleanse all jobs upon completion
• Monitor inventory level to avoid excess inventory, inventory shortages and or inventory inaccuracies
• Manage cycle count reconciliations
• Participate in Daily or Weekly meetings with Purchasing and Manufacturing for the purposes of schedule adherence
• Respond to Expedite Requests from internal customers
• In-depth understanding of lot tracked and serialize materials
• Daily cycle counts, picking work orders
• Lift up to 50 pounds

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma required
• Minimum of 5 years inventory in a production-manufacturing environment
• 2+ Years of Inventory management
• Experience with ERP systems
• Experience in Contract Manufacturing
• Experience in an ISO certified company is a plus
• Experience with JIT/Kanban systems and MRP
