DB Schenker is looking for a Warehouse Operator to join our warehouse site in Nuneaton. This is a great chance to join a successful team in a regulated and safety-first environment.
Salary : £25,500 incl Shift Allowance
Working hours: Sunday - Thursday 22:00 - 06:00
What will you be doing?
- Ensuring that all goods that are loaded or unloaded match the relevant paperwork
- Distribution across the Warehouses of all unloading goods
- Collection of Goods to Be loaded from the warehouses
- Reporting any damaged or missing goods to Operations Manager / Warehouse Supervisor
- Keeping the warehouse environment clean and tidy and maintaining equipment
- Following workplace health and safety rules when handling goods
- Supporting warehouse staff with packing activities, creation of boxes and crate building
- Adherence to aviation security requirements, carrying out collecting agents ID Checks, signing off and transferring collected goods to collecting agents
About you
Experience of working in a similar environment would be desirable- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work on own initiative
- Basic Maths and English skills
- Counterbalance license (Required)
