West Coast Field Operations Engineer

Digital Projection, a Kennesaw GA, based OEM is seeking technically oriented, customer service-focused candidates to join our team as a Field Operations Engineer. Ideally, to be located on the West Coast, within a one hour or reasonable drive distance to a major airport.

Job Duties and Essential Functions:

Field service, trouble shooting, and repair of DP branded video projectors and LED display systems, software, and ancillary systems components.

Work within a team installing and certifying LED displays and other video projector-based systems.

Assist with or conduct product demonstrations.

Support setup of equipment and displays at major trade shows.

Perform site surveys and readiness assessments for future and current projects.

Provide reports or assessments of all installations, noting block diagram connectivity and mechanical assembly details and other types of customer interaction.

Provide feedback to company management, factory engineers, and other suppliers regarding the performance and service issues related to branded equipment.

Participate in meetings with customers, vendors, and other team members.

Provide on-site product training and safety/certification training to dealer personnel and customers.

Extensive travel is required. Locally, Nationally and Internationally.

Must be able to obtain a US passport.

Minimum Qualifications, Skills, and Experience required:

High School diploma or equivalent

Strong, professional communication skills

5+ years of related work experience in supporting, servicing, of Projection and LED display systems and supporting their installation.

Experience in General Construction and Mechanical Assembly

Effective time management skills

Ability to read and understand schematics and other fabrication, engineering, architectural and construction drawings.

Familiarity of general networking concepts and equipment

Experience with A/V equipment, installations, and control systems

Willingness to learn new skills and a positive attitude.

Note:

We will provide specific training on the Operation, Installation and Service of all DP-branded Projectors and LED Systems.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
