Job Description:
Broadcom’s Access Wireless LAN group is looking for exceptional technical leaders to help spearhead cutting-edge WLAN connectivity solutions from beginning to end. The candidate will lead a group of engineers working on the implementation, verification and productization of WLAN connectivity products.
Job duties include:

Modeling of analog and RF impairments
-
Conducting C/C++ and Matlab simulations to study end-to-end system performance under various impairment and channel propagation conditions
-
Participating in pre-silicon validation
-
Participating in post-silicon bring-up, performance characterization and optimization
-
Interfacing with HW, SW,, FW, RF and test teams to deliver on-time SW releases
-
Field testing and verifying product performance using lab instruments
-
Prototyping Next-Generation Wireless System.
Skills/Experience
Required:
-
Deep understanding of WLAN systems and digital signal processing
-
Strong technical leadership
-
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
-
Good understanding of analog and RF systems
-
Familiarity with lab equipment such as spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, VSA/Litepoint
-
Familiarity with 802.11g/n/ac/ax standards
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
-
Proficiency in C/C++ and Matlab
Nice to have:
-
Knowledge of MU-MIMO, OFDMA, multiuser scheduling, data network protocols

Experience in embedded DSP programming
Education Requirements Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and 10+ years of experience or a Ph.D. with a specialization in Communication Systems and 7+ years of experience

Compensation and Benefits
The annual base salary range for this position is $126,000 - $210,000.
This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
