Job Summary
Moves trailers within yard at Plant 3 under direction of shipping supervisors
Must be a self-starter
Ability to pre and post trip equipment.
Ability to lift 100lbs.
Good communication skills with ability to speak the English language.
Good reading, writing skills and simple mathematics.
Excellent attendance and safety record.
Must be able to follow instructions, be very flexible and work independently.
Ability to handle plant situations when they occur.
Mechanically inclined a plus.
Reports any vehicle problems (i.e. mechanical failures, damage to truck/trailer, accident) immediately to Transportation Manager.
Maintains vehicle(s) in a neat appearance inside and outside; washing vehicle(s) weekly and/or as needed.
Required Qualifications
CDL-A-License preferred but not required.
High school diploma or GED equivalent; or minimum of 1 year of experience
