Job Summary
Program Coordinator oversees the implementation of the programmatic activities at schools. Oversees the program operations and assures that the programmatic operations are in compliance with relevant offices.
High School Specialty
- Oversees program implementation in the assigned high school; represents the school at program meetings with various community organizations; participates in the implementation of program strategies to facilitate the achievement of programmatic objectives.
- Oversees the design and maintenance of a comprehensive record keeping system related to the utilization of the site network.
- Maintains liaison with school administrators and staff.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Two years of full-time, paid, professional experience in program management, implementation, data collections and research, which has included experience with academic enrichment in a large urban district or overseeing components of financial and administrative operations in a large organization.
OR
- Any combination of training and experience determined to be acceptable by the Office of Talent.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Demonstrated knowledge of:
- the principles and current practices in the press management of multiple entities..
- the methods and techniques utilized in news dissemination and identifying positive and negative news.
- organizing press events, adhering to timelines and teamwork.
- the principles of research.
- the structure for briefing memos.
