Accounting Manager

Caterpillar’s Retail Electric Power Solutions (REPS) team has an exciting opportunity for an individual with financial experience who wants to be challenged. We’re looking for an Accounting Manager to support REPS Services teams. Part of this role involves working with the Aftermarket team to provide support to meet their 2026 growth goals. This role will also be instrumental in advancing energy transition commercial solutions, which combine an industry-leading technology platform with expert insights, managed services, and cutting-edge technology to significantly enhance the operational and economic opportunities of distributed generation and storage assets.

Job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Support the Cat Brand Aftermarket Services manager and energy transition leadership team with monthly reporting and financial analysis
  • Manage the FP&A for Tangent, a wholly owned subsidiary of Caterpillar, including monthly legal entity reporting, analyzing/presenting actual results, and tax reporting
  • Manage a team of individuals that support the aftermarket and energy transition businesses


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree within Accounting, Finance, or related area
  • 4-6 years of financial experience, preferably within a large and/or multinational corporation
  • Strong communication skills and intellectual curiosity
  • Excellent business acumen and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Legal Entity and Accountable reporting
  • Initiative, leadership, good judgement, effective organization skills, and accountability
  • Ability to resolve issues independently

Additional Details:

  • Location: Williams Square - Dallas, TX
  • Domestic relocation is available for those who qualify
  • 10-15% travel is expected
