EMR, a leader in commercial kitchen repair, has an Accounts Payable position open in our Rosedale, MD office. This position reports to the Controller and assists in maintaining accurate accounting records by processing vendor invoices and timely cash payments. Work hours are M-F 8am-4:30pm. Responsibilities Include:
- Process & enter invoices with all documentation.
- Verify & process check requests.
- Process weekly check runs including all ACH and credit card payments.
- Manage vendor setup.
- Resolve discrepancies with invoices & vendor statements.
- Monitor accounts & ensure payments are timely.
- Collaborate with vendors & respond to all inquiries.
- Assist with reconciling items on the bank reconciliation.
- Reconcile small bank accounts.
- Track and resolve credits due.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in accounts payable preferred.
- Experience in the use of Outlook, Word, & Excel.
- Demonstrates customer service, interpersonal communication, and ability to multi-task.
- Experience in service/repair or related industry is preferred.
- Ability to work in a team environment a must.
