Position: Accounts Receivable Manager.
Objectives and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for training and leading a team of receivables and collection professionals while performing these duties as well.
- Communicate with direct reports on goals and monitor their performance.
- Managing the entire AR process flow.
- Managing discrepancies.
- Conduct a monthly AR Analysis for all subsidiaries and at a consolidated level and provide collection efforts on overdue accounts.
- Create and provide a monthly receivables report on aging accounts and report to the Controller.
- Communicate regularly with the Controller providing updates on status of accounts.
- Ensure all accounts are managed monthly.
- Process customer and client payments daily.
- Manage and review deductions from customers and collect on invalid deductions.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring timely response to inquiries.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable & collections management, preference given to those with retail customer experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficient in MS Excel and the ability to learn other accounting software systems.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to post and manage financial records.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
