WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
  • Follow, promote and enforce safety policies, practices and procedures to ensure safe working conditions and behaviors are maintained. Assist with safety investigations and corrective actions related to safety hazards and/or incidents.
  • Develop and maintain positive and professional relationships with residents through effective and timely communication and customer service.
  • Investigate, resolve and respond to resident complaints and concerns to ensure quality and positive service.
  • Assists with the design, implementation and maintenance of resident retention programs, such as newsletters and social activities.
  • Communicate and enforce community rules and regulations in accordance with the resident lease, and any other applicable laws and regulations.
  • Assists in maintaining occupancy at established levels by ensuring that best practice sales techniques and methods are used effectively by leasing staff.
  • Establish and foster relationships with area employers in order to distribute information about the community.
  • Assist Property Manager in optimizing financial performance of assigned property and/or properties in accordance with the approved budget, forecast or other defined criteria.
  • Present recommendations to improve community practices; develop and/or refine associated policies, procedures and processes as requested.
  • Help direct office staff, ensuring that all staff operate within established policies and procedures and measures performance against established community goals.
  • Foster a spirit of cooperation by maintaining inter- and intradepartmental workflow.
  • Perform and/or oversee administrative tasks, such as managing mail, phone calls, email, copying, meetings, etc. required to perform the essential duties of the job.
  • Organize and file all documents and records, retain in accordance with the applicable retention policies.
  • Support the Property Manager in completing his/her essential functions during periods of absences or higher business demands.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
