Job description
This key marketing position supports the growth and development of the Professional business at Advance. This position will support key professional strategic priorities by working cross functionally with sales, operations, merchandising, eCommerce, training, and marketing channel owners to develop and execute impactful go-to market plans. This position will leverage data and insight to inform strategy and track impact.
This position is part of a Hybrid work arrangement based in Raleigh, NC.
RESPONSIBILITES
Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Develop, manage and execute every aspect of go-to-market activities for new store openings competitive intrusion, and other initiatives using all marketing channels and tactics available including print, digital, email, social media, promotional items, sponsorships etc.
Develop and execute integrated campaigns to drive customer interest, consideration, acquisition, loyalty and retention through market specific activation.
Responsible for tracking and forecasting budget as it relates to areas of responsibility.
Lead meetings and presentations with field team and other departments to teach out and gain alignment on programs and support plan.
Responsible for writing marketing briefs to aid in the production of marketing materials to support key initiatives.
Collaborate with team members, operations, channel owners on customer focused marketing plans to leverage resources, including sales information and research to help build and develop programs that are effective and impactful.
Support Pro Marketing in various projects while learning the dynamics of AAP Marketing, Sales and Merchandising for future growth opportunities.
Demonstrates a customer oriented/first mindset and consistently considers how to support the organization through exceptional customer service.

Understands core retail, professional and marketing fundamentals
Highly proficient with MS Office software - Outlook, Excel, Teams / WebEx, Power Point, Word
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to plan and manage time and resources, establish priorities and meet goals
Ability to develop and manage projects from conception to execution
Ability to communicate and influence at various levels within the organization and cross-functionally
Shows a passion for work and the energy to perform at a high level with minimal supervision (self-motivated)
Analytical software experience (Salesforce, PowerBI preferred)
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Merchandising, or related field; 2-4 years’ experience in marketing, merchandising, or corporate retail support function; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
