Job description
Job Summary:
The Warranty Clerk reviews and verifies warranty coverage and ensures all documentation is properly prepared and submitted.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all attachments are uploaded and attached as required - Alignment sheets, evac/recharge slips, battery slips, sublet invoices, etc.
- Verify required signatures, time and dates are on the hard copy, including customer signatures and service manager or delegated personnel signatures (if required).
- Check vehicle history to ensure milage is not significantly different than last visit. Significant variances will require us to verify with the service advisor or previous pictures attached to the RO in dealer management system.
- Review parts on bulletins to ensure they match what is billed in the RO.
- Check punches to ensure punch time are sufficient and coordinate with tech support.
- Review labor operations if provided with tech stories/ tech support.
- Review all scanned paperwork to ensure everything is scanned and that nothing is missing before documents are shredded.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Detail oriented
- Basic computer skills
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
