Park Forest Care Center is a privately owned, Medicaid-only facility. We pride ourselves in the care of our residents and are looking for motivated and caring CNAs to join our incredible team.

We have been providing excellent care to the Denver community since 1992. Our focus is to provide care to person’s requiring intermediate to skilled medical care and with mental illness, brain injuries and dementia. Our resident population is relatively young (ages ranging from late 20’s to early 80’s) with an average age of around 55.

In addition to providing care to our residents, our biggest priority is to maintain a healthy, safe, and most importantly happy home for everyone.

Park Forest maintains a dedicated staff in 10+ departments to focus on all areas of resident care. With this many departments, we are frequently educating and training our staff in other areas for their future advancement in their careers.

We provide education and training on Crisis Prevention, behavior management, and we are developing a strong interdisciplinary team including, Nursing, Social Services, Mental Health and Hospice agencies.

Park Forest is looking for hard working, compassionate, dedicated CNAs to care for our residents. Experience working with residents with behavioral challenges is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide kind and caring service, enjoy working with and for others.
  • Provides basic nursing care under the direction of the Registered Nurse
  • Assists patients with activities of daily living
  • Assists in the maintenance of a safe, secure, and clean environment
  • Engages patients in and role models positive, recovery-oriented behaviors.
  • Behavior Technologist duties (providing increased supervision for our residents)
  • Meal service

Qualifications

  • Must hold current CNA certification in the state of Colorado
  • Must be in good physical health to be able to lift and transfer patients, and to be able to walk or stand for long periods of time
  • Great communication and people skills
  • Aptitude in problem-solving
  • Must be compassionate, personable, and kind
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize assignments
  • Ability to handle emotional and stressful situations in a professional manner while remaining calm

Job Type: Full-time

Must be able to work with COVID positive patients at times.

COVID-19 considerations:
We follow all COVID-19 protocols as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control, the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, and the Tri-County Health Department

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Per diem, PRN

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
