Copper Shores Village - Maintenance Assistant - Part Time Days
Job description
Immanuel is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to work at Copper Shores Village located at 1500 Edgewater Drive, Pleasant Hill, IA 50327. Copper Shores Village has 99 dually certified assisted living/independent living apartments and 16 memory support apartments. Situation right next to Copper Creek Lake.
Shift: Monday - Friday flexible with rarely working on weeknds or holidays
Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.
Ensures building and equipment are in working order by performing preventative maintenance and repairing damage.
Completes work orders in a timely fashion.
Conducts general carpenter work using common hand and power tools.
Diagnoses mechanical problems.
Assembles structures such as furniture or pipe systems.
Repairs or replaces defective equipment parts.
Cleans and lubricates equipment.
Paints and patches walls, equipment, and structures.
Assembles, installs, and repairs electrical wiring.
Skills & Requirements
High School Diploma/GED is required.
Trade or Vocational Schooling is preferred
Equivalent years of work may substitute for education requirement.
One (1) year of facilities maintenance or related experience is required.
Equivalent years of education may substitute for experience requirement.
