:hire is currently looking for a Customer Service Representative for a client partner in the Grove City area.
Customer Service Representative Job Summary
Provide customer service and assistance for the company, as well as for the organization’s Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service Departments. The position will have considerable interaction with customers, field specialists, purchasing, key suppliers, and management. This position will require flexibility, strong time management and organization skills in order to build and drive a best-in-class customer service organization.
Qualifications
- Good working knowledge and capability with the full suite of MS Office products, Excel, Word & PowerPoint required.
- Previous working experience in a customer service capacity required, with inside sales experience a plus.
- Health & Safety product knowledge is very helpful but not required.
- Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal skills, a must.
- Self-motivated, detail oriented, punctual, and a quick learner.
- Multi-task, customer account management and follow up skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide a best-in-class customer experience consistently from top to bottom, which can be measured and supported by our customer’s satisfaction ratings as well as internal evaluations.
- Will work very closely as a liaison between Customers, Field Specialists, and Purchasing.
- Process and follow-up on customer’s orders in a timely manner and manage open orders and customer reports.
- Work closely with Purchasing Dept to help maintain stocking levels and customer inventory selections.
- Help to increase sales and profits with existing customers.
- Be available for specific safety training classes.
- Work within a team environment with regards to managing inbound customer activity.
- Identify and resolve customer issues and complaints.
- Implement and maintain pricing strategy within the customer base.
- Assist with other items as required or as directed by supervisor.
Conditions
- Job takes place in a normal office setting with no known hazardous environmental or physical working conditions. The job entails moderate requirements for lifting, bending, and standing.
- Travel may be required as determined by customer interaction and training occurring off-site.
- Job requires ability to read some technical material and develop analysis and recommendations regarding same.
- Requires normal dexterity, strength, coordination, vision (including the ability to read a computer screen) and hearing inherent in office work.
Organizational Relationships
Reports directly to company CFO.
Works closely with management personnel, Vice President of Sales, Financial Organization, Operations Management, Regional Sales Managers, Field Sales Representatives, Customers, Suppliers, and employees in general.
