Buckeye Partners is currently seeking a Data Analyst with advanced experience in Microsoft Excel to join our team!
Role Summary:
The Data Analyst role is responsible for supporting the goals of the Buckeye Power Program by maintaining data and databases while providing analytical support and process improvement for multiple data sources utilized by the Buckeye Power Program.
Responsibilities & Essential Functions include:
- Database Maintenance. Maintaining existing related utility and DRA databases.
- Data Flow Process Improvement. Working with team members to analyze data flow and recommending and implementing process improvement initiatives including new database development.
- Expense Forecasting. Projecting energy and DRA expenditures for geographically diverse pipeline and terminal assets.
- Reporting & Analysis. Preparing all Power Program reporting and working with the team to add analytical commentary.
- Utility Data Administration. Performing all utility related data processes, including utility invoice data extraction, processing, and dispute resolution.
- DRA Data Administration. Performing all DRA related data processes including DRA invoice data extraction, processing and dispute resolution.
- Annual Budget Preparation. Analyzing and compiling historical energy consumption for various pipeline and terminal assets. Including projecting forward commodity prices by reviewing established power contracts from many different suppliers.
- Researching Tariffs. Utilize power company websites to analyze information on Tariff submittals for rate base changes impacting Buckeye’s assets.
- And other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel required.
- Access database experience preferred.
- No travel required
