Owned and operated by Dr. William Black, Sakura Dental is a new, modern, and fully digital dental practice located in the northern suburbs of Wilmette, IL. The practice will be opening and begin to treat patients starting in May 2023! Dr. Black is a warm, friendly doctor who values excellent patient care, communication, and teamwork. Our dental practice is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team part-time! Our ideal candidate enjoys bringing a smile to other people’s faces, is willing to learn, and is committed to providing a unique and memorable patient experience. The full description is as follows:

Location: 70 Skokie Blvd, Wilmette, IL 60091

Job Title: Dental Assistant

Job Type: Part-time

Compensation: $18-25/hr. - based on level of experience

Experience required:

• No experience required; 1 year preferred

Requirements:

• Upbeat, friendly personality
• Must be trainable and willing to learn
• Must be a team player

Schedule:

• Hours are flexible and may vary - minimum 3 days a week.

Responsibilities:

• Chair and tool sterilization
• Digital scanning
• Take images including panoramic x-rays and CT scans
• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate dental procedures and terminology
• Maintain patient confidentiality through HIPPA compliance
• Highly-engage with patients and fellow team members
• Show a reliable and empathetic attitude towards patients and staff
• Ordering supplies and taking care of logistics
• Schedule patients and answer phones as needed

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
