We have a unique opportunity and team member offering for a Surgical Assistant who is motivated to provide excellent patient care. The ideal candidate has a background in both clinical and administrative environments and is familiar with surgical procedures such as tooth extraction, bone grafting, implant placemet, and periodontal surgical procedures. Our locations in New Albany, IN and Louisville, KY are fee for service and work completely on a referral basis. Full time is preferred but part time is available for both locations. If you enjoy working in a contemporary setting with the most modern equipment and surcical advances in dentistry, then this is the position for you.
Responsibilities:
- Take blood pressure and pulse rates of patients.
- set-up and take down of operatories
- Surgical assisting
- Discuss post-operative instructions
- Contribute to the improvement of surgical techniques
- Take CBCT, PANO, and other radiographic images
- Familiarize and interact with patients and their referrals
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
