Our mission at BelPres Church is to participate with Jesus in furthering his kingdom on the Eastside and the places in the world he calls us. In the next 5 years, our vision is to participate in Jesus’ revival of the Eastside in three ways: to equip our whole congregation to be fully-engaged disciples, to equip and empower every generation to reach and engage young families, and to further develop our campus to serve the needs of our church and the Eastside.
The Impact You’ll Be Making
As the Care Director, you will manage the day-to-day operations of the Care Team. Your primary tasks will include, but are not limited to:
- Supervising each member of the team to ensure pastoral care to our congregation through staff and volunteers
- Managing the Care Team budget, including the caring benevolence fund
- Providing general oversight for memorial services, crisis care, hospital visits, prayer requests, deacon ministry, on-call pastors, and homebound ministries
- Ensuring alignment of the Care Team with all BelPres departments and with church vision, including equipping congregants to care for and disciple others

- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

- Ability to take on responsibility and work independently
- Ability to serve and equip congregants of all ages and stages for growth and ministry
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook and Excel
