Era Living is seeking a Housekeeping Services Director to become the newest member of our Housekeeping team located in University House Issaquah Community, Issaquah, WA.

Summary:
This position is responsible for the administrative authority and accountability for supervising and directing the Housekeeping and Laundry Departments. Does day-to-day Housekeeping\Laundry required to keep the Housekeeping\Laundry Service Delivery System in good working order.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to plan, direct, coordinate and evaluate the work of others
• Possess basic knowledge and ability to perform all aspects of housekeeping and laundry administration functions in a health care institution
• Ability to use Word processing software, spreadsheet software, e-mail and the Internet
• Knowledge of infection control techniques
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and requirements and ability to follow all regulations and requirements ensuring personal and resident safety at all times
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English
• Ability to pass DSHS background check, required

Education and Experience:

• 1 years of related experience required; Experience in hospitality or health-care setting preferred
• Previous experience supervising work for a team of individuals with differing levels of skill to enable them to achieve performance and quality standards in a long-term care environment, preferred
