What will you be doing?
Electrician Apprentice's responsibilities include:
- Execute plans of electrical wiring for well-functioning lighting and other electrical systems
- Install electrical apparatus, fixtures, equipment, and any type of electrical systems
- Install safety and distribution components (e.g. switches, resistors, circuit-breaker panels, etc.)
- Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components
- Prepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through them
- Prevent breakdown of systems by routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring and insulated cables, cleaning circuits, etc.
- Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions, rebuild, repair, or substitute damaged units
Job requirements
To be considered for this role, you must meet/possess the following requirements:
- Residential and Commercial Apprentices- (1 year experience preferred not required)
- Apprentice Registration Required
- Mandatory Continued Education Requirements
- Exceptional Attitude (A+ Players Only)
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Acceptable background checks
- Basic Hand Tool Required
- Flexible and should have reliable transportation (required in some locations)
- Must be authorized to work in the US
