The Recruiter will be responsible for executing custom recruiting strategies for assigned divisions to ensure we satisfy our purpose of hiring high-quality employees that possess an aptitude for growth and development as well as a passion for our industry. This is a fast-paced position and will require a high degree of organization, resourcefulness and initiative. This position will need to form successful relationships with all levels of the organization and drive results.
What you'll be doing:
- Execute the day-to-day activities associated with the Recruitment and Onboarding of new employees across multiple states.
- Initiate recruiting efforts for position vacancies at assigned divisions
- Develop and implement innovative, actionable and cost-effective methods of sourcing top talent outside of traditional recruiting methods
- Maintain detailed recruiting metric reports and distribute weekly to Supervisor and other department managers as requested
- Maintain awareness of changes in personnel regulatory environment
- Provide input to Supervisor on compensation
- Provide training for managers in recruiting, interviewing and evaluating applicants
- Recommend and implement process enhancements as well as alternate recruiting strategies when necessary
- Administer health insurance benefits, employee verification requests, and workers compensation claims
- Administer FMLA and PFL leave program
- Other projects as assigned
What you'll need to succeed:
- Bachelor's degree
- 2-4 years full-cycle recruiting experience
- Knowledge of recruiting practices and principles, applicable employment law, compensation, benefits, health insurance, and safety laws and regulations.
- Experience with Applicant Tracking System and sourcing tools, preferably UKG (UltiPro).
- Experience with Indeed, particularly utilizing its sourcing tool
- Experience with social media, career boards, and other on-line resources to attract and interact with applicants.
- Demonstrated success in identifying high-quality, talented candidates through targeted, highly-effective recruitment strategies and campaigns.
- Self-motivated, team player with excellent people skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer service orientation with exceptional abilities in building internal and external relationships.
- Exceptional time management skills.
- Extremely organized and detail oriented.
- Ability to manage multiple, shifting and competing priorities.
