Graphic Designer Position – Part Time THIS CANNOT BE DONE REMOTELY AND YOU MUST LIVE WITHIN 1/2 HOUR OF OUR TREXLERTOWN LOCATION!

EBC Printing– Trexlertown, PA

EBC Printing is a commercial printing company located in Allentown PA. We are an aggressive company with a highly unique understanding of how to take care of customers, and how to produce the highest quality work.
Currently, we are seeking driven individuals to join our Design team. The right candidates will be a team players who can help us achieve excellence.

Qualities required for the Graphic Designer position:

Speed and accuracy. Attention to Detail, Deadline-Oriented. Strong background in design-for-print preferred. Pre-press experience is an added plus. Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite. Preference given to applicants with 3+ years experience.

Graphic Designer Job Purpose:

Responsible for designing and setting up various types of projects for printing on the press or for digital use. Designer should be able to take the project from inception to completion.

Graphic Designer Job Duties:

· Gather and organize materials and information for projects.

· Meet with clients to understand their vision for the project.

· Design logos for products and businesses.

· Create layouts for flyers, business cards, and other printed marketing materials.

· Create designs for promotional displays, packaging and marketing brochures.

· Obtains approval of concept by submitting proofs for approval.

· Prepares finished copy and art for printing.

· Pre-press experience is ad added plus.

· Completes projects by coordinating press proof with Press Operator.

· Work daily with Customer Service Associates and Lead Designer to prioritize the Graphic Department schedule.

· Contributes to team effort by supporting Customer Service Associates and Lead Designer.

· Maintains technical knowledge by attending design workshops; reviewing professional publications; participating in professional societies.

· Perform research on competitors and market trends.

· Compensation is based on proficiency and experience.

· Approx. 20 hours a week or as needed.
