THE ROLE

We are seeking a Group Product Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Senior Director of Product Management, this role will have direct ownership of the Proxibid auction marketplace & SaaS product strategy, requirements definition, roadmap planning, execution, and rollout. You are data driven to achieve outcome over output, excellent at managing multiple concurrent initiatives, experienced in keeping the product vision and stakeholders aligned through great communication, and comfortable evangelizing your product to executives across the organization.

This is a hybrid working, full-time, position located in your choice of Omaha, NE / Lehi, UT / New York, NY.

KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own It—Own the strategy, planning, roadmap, and performance metrics for Proxibid
  • Be the organizational knowledge owner for Proxibid
  • Focus—Stay laser focused on planning & executing toward quarterly goals, ensuring that all product prioritization at the roadmap level and at the individual project level is commercially driven
  • Be Visible—Champion and evangelize Proxibid across ATG
  • Ensure everyone in the organization knows they can go to you for answers, to explore business opportunities, and supporting data
  • Lead & facilitate collaboration between stakeholders, team members, and executive sponsors
  • Act as a hub across a wide range of stakeholders, including marketing, sales and support, operations, engineers, and users, to digest needs and insights into product value, from idea conception through execution
  • Gain a personal understanding of buyer and seller pain points, and determine which are the biggest commercial opportunity, through direct buyer and seller interaction, Product team driven research, internal team feedback, and personally reviewing direct product feedback
  • Manage and maintain a backlog of work for the Proxibid team
  • Ensure that Initiatives, Themes, Epics and Stories are valuable, viable, feasible, and usable, as well as, properly defined prior to delivery activities
  • Work cross-functionally to establish a standard go to market strategy for Proxibid products and features
  • Continually work with executive stakeholders to align & balance the Proxibid product vision with business needs & goals
  • Work with engineering leadership to achieve continuous delivery using agile processes to deliver improvements and value to users
  • Work with Product Design/UX and Data teams to conduct discovery/elaboration, through researching customer needs and behaviors, leading to successful execution on product goals, while maintaining brand quality and consistency

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Strong experience product managing complex products, including strategy and implementation, over at least 5 years—required
  • Evidence of data driven decision making—required
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; MBA—a plus
  • Experience managing a two-way marketplace online—a strong plus
  • Auction industry experience—a strong plus
  • Management consulting or engineering experience—a plus
  • The tendency to collaborate and communicate openly, identifying and building relationships with stakeholders, and building team-wide insight in product
  • The orientation to invite other area owners’ expertise on product work
  • Practical knowledge of Search, A/B Testing, eCommerce, CRO, and SEO
  • Experience working with executive stakeholders to achieve joint success
  • An innate sense of the drivers of a great user experience
  • The willingness to iterate rapidly
  • A strong comfort with a dynamic, high growth environment
