Posiiton Purpose:
Manages all aspects of Housekeeping and Custodial staff. Provides customer service liaison to residents and family members of residents living at Brewster Place. Oversees purchasing for all departments at Brewster Place.
Key Responsibilities/Duties:
- Manages the housekeeping/custodial department:
- Oversees schedules for housekeeping, custodial, and laundry staff; handles resident complaints and issues; sets standards and ensures standards are met; responsible for hiring, firing, counseling, evaluating all staff assigned; may have to assist with cleaning when necessary and training of staff; oversees any contracted staff for housekeeping, custodial, pest control. Reports to the Director of Environmental Services.
- Assists with issuing work orders when needed
- Performs weekend duties on a scheduled and rotating basis.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
