The Eloise at Wirth on the Woods is hiring a Housing Specialist. The Eloise is a 100-unit market-rate senior community opening in the late-Fall/early-Winter of 2023 and located in the City of Minneapolis and in the Bryn Mahr Neighborhood. It is part of a larger housing complex and is joined by the Theodore to enhance synergy, efficiency and resident experience. Residents will be 55+ and experience a wide range of quality amenities. This project will be owned by Lupe Development and Ecumen will serve as the management agent.

Responsibilities:
Housing Specialist
The Housing Specialist is responsible for the overall management of a building. Monitors the residents and assures needs are being met. Assists in developing programs to meet the needs of the resident community. This includes public relations, marketing and oversight of the building and its programs.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Supports Housing Director with total operations of the building.
- Leads and implements relational sales processes for the site. Ensures proper lead management and nurturing of prospects from inquiry through reservation. Actively leverages a customer relationship management tool (CRM) by entering and maintaining prospect information in real-time.
- Provides tours to potential residents, families, and referrals, including evening and weekends as requested. Completes lease agreements for all move-ins.
- Answers the telephone politely and attentively, screens calls, routes calls, and takes messages for residents and team members in a courteous manner. Greets all persons entering the facility in a professional and courteous manner. Informs, guides, directs, and otherwise assists residents, visitors, staff, guests, and vendors.
- Maintains positive relationships with residents, their families, staff, and the community. Maintain open lines of communication with residents and staff to monitor levels of satisfaction and/or dissatisfaction and respond appropriately if changes are needed in policies or procedures.
- Develops and maintains a master calendar of events, outings, and other recreational opportunities for residents.
- Manages the collections and coding of invoices to correct department for accounts payable processing.
Housing Specialist
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to use Microsoft Suite
- Must be flexible and adaptable to changing situations including able to work irregular hours, attend meetings and special events.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbal and written
- Ability to follow all safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the facility including but not limited to: Vulnerable Adult and Abuse Policy, HIPAA, Resident’s Bill of Rights, Universal Precaution, AWAIR, OSHA, Right to know, SDS, ADA, Fair Housing laws and regulations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
- Prior Sales and Marketing experience
- Prior experience working with seniors
- Management/housing experience
