It is through our differences that we make a difference! At the Cornwall Foundation Trust (CFT) we are dedicated to developing an extraordinary, inclusive, and diverse organisation, where everyone feels they belong. With this in mind, we have created a new Diversity and Inclusion Lead role.
The Diversity and Inclusion Lead will ensure that everything within the trust has diversity and inclusion at its heart. Leading in conceptualising and delivering Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) initiatives across the organisation. You will shape new and evolving programmes and lead the next iteration of the strategy. Working with key stakeholders both internally and externally, you will be responsible for embedding related working practices across the organisation to support an inclusive culture that genuinely embraces difference.
EDI is about leading change through improvement initiatives, engagement with and motivation of staff, ensuring people realise their potential and feel their contribution is valued. It's about developing a culture and a system that puts workforce inclusion and great patient care at the centre of all that we do. Happy staff, happy patients, happy organisation.
