Summary

ONE Arts Community School is hiring! We are a nonprofit and have a mission of arts and creative education for all ages! In Colchester, we are looking for a Lead toddler teacher with experience working in a classroom and someone who has or is working towards at least an associate in education. This is for our young toddler classroom of 1.5 to 2-year-olds.
Our schools are committed to honoring the humanity of each child and providing a dynamic, collaborative, and diverse learning atmosphere where teachers and children work side by side. We believe that school should be an inclusive place of enthusiastic, open-ended play and exploration. Duties

Ensure the health and safety of students
Encourage and cultivate student curiosities and interests
Coordinate and communicate with co-teacher and other staff
Plan and implement curriculum
Maintain open communication with families
Document student learning
Participate in goal setting for the program
Attend and participate in staff meetings
Communicate with the program director concerning needs, ideas
Help establish and enforce program policies
Ensure the environment is kept clean and safe

Requirements

Working on a Teacher Associates (at least 12 credits) or higher degree
1+ year experience with young children
Patience
