Now hiring a Full-Time Line Cook to join the team at the Shelburne Hotel & Pub in Seaview! We are a company that uses local ingredients to create interesting and fun dining experiences unique to each property. As a Social Purpose Corporation and certified B Corp, we strongly believe in protecting our environment and supporting our local community. We are located on the Pacific Northwest Coast (Long Beach, WA and Astoria, OR). Travelers come to enjoy our ocean and river views and live music in our restaurant that are attached to our hotels.

Duties

• Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations
• Preparing food including cleaning and cutting the ingredients and cooking main dishes, desserts, appetizers and snacks
• Plating prepared foods based on chef’s guidance
• Working with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time
• Washing and cleaning the kitchen and cooking utensils and storing the equipment at the end of shifts
• Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations

Qualifications

• WA food handlers card
• 1+ years restaurant experience in the back of house
• Proven ability to work well with a team
• Able to work long shifts, with extensive standing/walking.
• Ability to lift materials and/or product up to 50 pounds or more.
• Reliable transportation

Working Hours and Benefits

This is a full-time position. You will average 35-40 hours/week. We offer medical, dental, and vision insurance, PTO, 401k, and an employee assistance program. Pay: $17.27 - $21.00 per hour
