Lobby Bar & Evening F&B Manager
Fairmont Dallas is looking for a dynamic and passionate individual to ensure successful operations of the lobby bar and evening F&B operations. The Lobby Bar Manager will be present on the floor, responsible for the coaching, training and counseling of employees while fostering a strong relationship with clients. This role will be directly responsible for service standards, menu creation, recognition and operational improvement, and creating a memorable guest experience.

What you will be doing:
Ensure the smooth daily operation of the lobby bar, evening service in the restaurant, and oversee In-Room Dining operations during the shift
Coordinate the training & development of all team members to ensure hotel service standards are maintained
Ensure guest satisfaction goals and service standard audits are met
Ensure smooth processing of cash handling by the team members
Ensure high level of departmental morale through coaching & communication and leading by example in forming strong relationships
Take a constructive approach to achieving departmental goals with regards to guest satisfaction, employee engagement, financials, productivity, and LQA service standards
Foster a positive approach towards Health and Safety with all staff and maintain a low frequency of accidents
Work closely and communicate effectively with the culinary team
Follow up on any client concerns that arise during service
Ensure that equipment needs are adequately maintained and inventories kept
Actively participates in the recruitment of team members
Perform administrative duties such as payroll, schedule, month-end reporting, inventory, forecasting and budgeting
Conduct frequent inspections of the outlets, reporting any deficiencies to maintenance
Other duties as assigned
Your experience and skills include:
Three years food and beverage supervisory experience
Previous experience in a luxury hotel preferred
Fluency in English (written and verbal) required
Post-Secondary Hospitality Degree/Diploma an asset
Strong computer skills in Microsoft Suite required
Previous experience in Guest Relations required
Very comfortable working with different applications and systems
Physical abilities:
Exert physical effort in transporting (40 pounds)
Endure various physical movements throughout the work areas
Reach 1-2 feet
Remain in stationary position (standing) for 6-8 hours throughout work shift
Walking, bending, pushing, pulling, kneeling, use of ramps and stairs
Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in the United States. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining work authorization documents.
