Job Description
Primary responsibility is to ensure that product shipments are picked up from vendors, transported, docked and received in coordination with the Distribution Centers. Also coordinate the flow of logistics information both internally and externally across the supply chain. This position requires a team player who is adaptable and organized with problem solving skills and a desire for continuous improvement.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
Manage the daily flow of inbound domestic loads as well as Ocean Import at distribution centers (Pickup Loads, Dock, Receive)
Track shipments from pickup through delivery; ensure the information is accurate, and up-to-date.
Create and monitor in-transit logs on all modes of transportation and service levels.
Receive and process transportation requests from domestic vendor on anticipated production schedules.
Perform additional duties as require
Job Requirements
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
1-2 years with international & domestic logistics experience required
Bachelor/undergraduate degree preferred or equivalent experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
Advanced computer skills, Bosa Nova system, Excel and Word, AS400 experience;
