Position Summary: Operating manufacturing machinery to produce parts for our high security lock and key production.

Shift Hours: 3:30 pm - midnight with overtime as needed. Includes additional $1.50/hour shift differential.

Essential Functions:

1. Position and align tools into holders

2. Observe operation to inspect first-run work pieces

3. Troubleshoot machine/set up issues

4. Make edits and adustments in the machine program

5. Study blueprints, layout or chart to visualize work sequence of operations, dimensions and tooling instructions

6. Train others as required

7. Actively involved in continuous improvement, Kaizen, quality, cycle time reduction

8. Other duties as necessary

Minimum Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent

2. At least 3 years of experience with manufacturing machine operation preferred

3. Ability to perform machine changeovers and adjustments in an accurate, timely manner on all machines

4. Knowledge of coolant and cutting oils is helpful.

8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
