Description
In this position you will produce test specimens that correlate with customer specifications and blueprints. You will operate machinery such as saws, manual mills, and CNC mills and lathes.

In this position you will produce test specimens that correlate with customer specifications and blueprints. You will operate machinery such as saws, manual mills, and CNC mills and lathes.
Duties and Responsibilities
- View drawings and blueprints to understand what dimensions the materials need to be cut/shaped into.
- Think creatively to determine the most effective and efficient way to cut the material into the desired shape and size.
- Select the proper materials and tools to get the job done, such as calipers, drills and mills.
- Inspect finished product to ensure accuracy.
- Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
- US Citizenship required
- High school diploma or GED required
- Mechanically inclined individuals preferred
- Auto CAD experience preferred, but not required
- Experience working with and understanding blueprints preferred
- Fundamental understanding of M and G codes
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
