We have an exciting opportunity for a committed and motivated individual with experience of supporting cancer patients to undertake a s fixed term contract or a secondment opportunity to work in our Macmillan Cancer Information Centre in Kettering General Hospital as a Macmillan Cancer and Information assistant for a initial period of two years. There will be educational opportunities to support skills and knowledge development throughout. We are looking for an individual who has strong interpersonal skills and is emotionally robust in supporting cancer patients throughout their pathway.In conjunction with the other team members of the Macmillan Cancer Information & Support Service they will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive information service to ensure accessibility and equality of information and support for all people affected by cancer living in Lincolnshire.
