Avita Health System currently operates three hospitals and numerous clinic locations throughout Richland and Crawford counties. JOB SUMMARY

Under the supervision of the Laboratory Director or designee, provides laboratory services to meet the needs of patients performed in accordance with accepted standards and practices. Performs laboratory procedures to provide information for the diagnosing and monitoring of medical treatment.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Laboratory training including either completion of a clinical laboratory training program (Associate Degree) approved or accredited by the ABHES, NAACLS, or other organization approved by HHS (note that this training may be included in the 60 semester hours listed above).
• Current BLS certificate.
• Adheres to regulatory requirements including all State, Federal and accrediting body regulations.
• Influenza Vaccination
• Must have blood bank experience.

PREFERRED

• Certified as Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT); ASCP, AMT(HHS).
• Three years of clinical laboratory experience.

Summary:

• 6p - 6:30am - (3-12's)
• Every other weekend & Holiday rotation.
• 13 week contract
• 24 hours guaranteed per week
• $46/hour for a local candidate
• Possible stipend for housing & mileage
• Great way to get your foot in the door if you are looking for a staff position.

72 hours per pay

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: Up to $46.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 12 hour shift
• Weekend availability
