We are searching for an energetic go-getter who is trained and ready to extend upscale care to our patients. Pinnacle Plastic Surgery provides an active and vibrant work atmosphere, where each member of our team plays an integral role in the overall success of the practice. You will be working with extremely skillful co-workers who are experts in their respective fields.

Qualified candidates must possess the following expertise:

Scribing Skills:

Take notes during patient visits and documenting them in the electronic health records system.

Document discharge summaries, medical history and physical examination reports, operative reports, consultation reports, progress notes, and referral letters.

Use medical terminology to accurately convey diagnosis or treatment.

Enter the patient's discharge plan and any prescriptions.

Electronic Medical Record Skills:

Review outside medical records for pertinent information.
Keep track of and enter the results of imaging studies, lab studies and pathology.
Experience with ModMed (EMA) a plus.

Medical/Procedure Skills:

Interview Patients and record information in patient charts.
Assist in RX ordering and reminders.
Prioritize the physician's time by bringing critical results to his/her attention.
Check patients’ medical charts and consent forms.

Education and Experience

Knowledge of dermatology and plastic surgery medical terminology, procedures and diagnosis.

Familiar with standard dermatology concepts, practices, and procedures.

Working knowledge of healthcare insurance and dermatology coding a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
