Seeking a Medical Speech-Language Pathologist to join our Team at Asbury Care Centers of Houston. We are a high acuity skilled nursing facility. The ideal candidate would have experience with tracheostomy and ventilators. The Medical SLP would work directly with physicians and respiratory therapists in the facility to have the best patient outcomes. Profiency in swallowing disorders and speaking valves required.
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Provide training and education to family/caregivers and other professionals.
- Work collaboratively with professionals from many other disciplines.
Must have ASHA CCC
Master's Degree in Communication Disorders
