My client is a globally renowned full-service GC with multiple projects throughout New Jersey! They are looking for a MEP Project Manager to join their team of innovative construction professionals. This individual would responsible for taking multiple pharmaceutical construction projects from start to completion.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide oversight to a single large project or multiple Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) construction projects which includes personnel management, contract compliance, project planning and scheduling, reports, cash flow, materials management, safety, job cost and profitability, managing trades and impact of changes in work.
• Partner with and form strong working relationships with the field craftspeople and supervision, project team, general contractor, other subcontractors, and the client.
• Utilize LEAN principles and have a keen understanding of what the owner wants to deliver value.
• Play a key role in managing the financials and making sure the project remains profitable.
• Continually develop and nurture customer relationships beyond a single project – at Southland, we value customers for life.
• Mentor Project Engineers and help prepare them for the next step in their profession in keeping with our core value “People.”
• Plan the project (ultimately from start to finish) with an understanding of all of the moving parts involved and what it takes to successfully manage the process.
