We are looking for hardworking, strong, mechanically inclined individuals who can work
effectively in a team environment. Successful candidates are dedicated to excellence,

Our installation technicians will be based out of our Greer, SC warehouse. They assemble, test,
and deliver fitness equipment for our customers throughout the southeastern states including
southern VA, southern WV, NC, SC, TN, AL, GA and northern and central FL.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Hardworking, motivated, and reliable
- Heavy lifting on a regular and daily basis
- Upon hire, will need to provide a doctor's note clearing you for heaving lifting (100lbs
- Strong aptitude for analyzing, assembling, and troubleshooting electrical machinery
- Comfortable driving a 24'-26' truck regularly
- Upon hire, pass a DOT driver physical
- Upon hire, must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the USA
- Possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

- Upon hire, complete a criminal background check in compliance with all state and
- Ability to work 12-hour days when necessary
Travel and weekly overnight stays are required, depending on the customer’s location and size of
delivery.
I. JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Advantage Sport & Fitness Installer is primarily responsible for performing the activities
related to loading, installing, and delivering the fitness equipment used by our commercial and
retail customers. He/she will assume full responsibilities after completing a training period
which will prepare him/her for the specific responsibilities outlined below. The Installer will
report directly to the Director of Field Operations & Logistics.
II. SKILL/CHARACTER REQUIREMENTS:
A. Interpersonal Skills:
The Installer must be a strong communicator who works effectively with a wide variety
of people, including customers, fellow workers, and company management. The Installer
represents the company to our customers and must conduct him/herself in a professional
manner at all times. The Installer must be capable of working in a team environment.
B. Mechanical Troubleshooting/Repair Skills:
The Installer must have a strong aptitude for analyzing, assembling, and trouble-
shooting installation problems with mechanical devices.
C. Electrical Troubleshooting/Repair Skills:
The Installer must have a strong aptitude for analyzing, assembling, and trouble-
shooting installation problems with electrical and electronic devices.
D. Physical Strength:
The Installer must possess significant physical strength in order to perform the tasks of
loading, delivering, and installing equipment which often require lifting and moving heavy objects.
E. Organizational/Planning Skills:
The Installer must demonstrate planning and organizational skills in order to assist in
the task of scheduling deliveries.
F. General Characteristics:
The Installer must conduct him/herself in a professional manner, must be thoroughly
dependable and responsible, and must be careful and attentive to detail.
III. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
A. Assist with Delivery/Installation Planning:
1. Assist the Installation Manager in communicating with the retail and commercial sales
personnel to identify all delivery and assembly requirements, including which equipment is
involved and what timing requirements must be met.
2. Assist the Installation Manager in communicating with the customer to analyze the logistics of
the delivery/installation and to schedule a time that is satisfactory to the customer.
B. Assist with Receiving and Loading Operations:
1. Receive or direct the receipt of shipments. Communicate with the Warehouse Manager to
resolve any problems that occur with shipments.
2. Load the trucks for the installation. Examine the invoice and ensure that the appropriate
equipment is loaded onto the truck. Ensure that the load is properly secured on the truck.
C. Perform Installation Operations:
1. Drive the equipment to the site. Maintain all DOT documentation as required and secure
proper documentation of all fuel expenditures.
2. Communicate with the customer, unload the equipment, transport it into the facility and
assemble it in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications and the customers wishes.
Assist the customer in selecting optimal placement and positioning of the equipment.
3. Instruct the customer on proper maintenance and use of the equipment.
4. Assist the Installation Manager in coordinating the return of rental trucks and in documenting
the necessary information so that correct billing can be ascertained.
IV. COMPENSATION/BENEFITS:
The Installer is a FLSA non-exempt hourly position and the hourly rate is $18-28 per/hour
depending upon experience, technical skill and length with the company. The Installer is eligible
for company benefits as described in the Employee Handbook.
V. HOURS REQUIRED:
The required hours are somewhat flexible to accommodate the specific scheduling
requirements of each week, but the average work week is approximately 40 to 60 hours per
week, worked Monday through Friday, beginning at 8:00 am each morning. Earlier start times
and/or later finish times will be necessary for specific deliveries/installations.
Overnight trips are to be expected to distant delivery locations, on a regular basis.
Weekend work is generally not required.
