Job description

Eklego is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Cook to join a team of professionals working in a direct-hire position at one of our Senior Care clients in the Harleysville, PA area. Current shifts available include Evening shifts and every other weekend. Starting pay is based on experience.

The Cook prepares quality food for residents, staff, and guests in compliance with accepted nutritional and sanitation guidelines.

What will I do as a Cook?

• Preparing all meals and menu items according to proper safety and cooking techniques
• Utilizing your culinary talents to cook healthy and great tasting menu items
• Assisting in menu planning and the purchasing and ordering of food, supplies and equipment
• Assisting in preparation of special meals, party menus and special event menus.

Requires:

• Two years experience in Batch Cooking
• High School Diploma
• Valid drivers license
• ServSafe certified preferred but training is offered
• Prior food service preparation in a clinical setting preferred
