Job description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced ESL instructor to join our ALTA Program team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English as a second language to students of various age groups and proficiency levels in a hybrid format, online AND in-person at our Hazleton Center. Candidates will need to use technology in the classroom and be comfortable using various digital tools to enhance the learning experience for their students, as well as, track attendance, document lesson plans, and participate in professional development activities. Demonstrated proficiency with the following is required: use of a learning management system (LMS) such as Google Classroom; proficiency with video conferencing tools such as Zoom or Google Meet; and educational apps or software.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that are engaging and effective
- Assess student progress and provide regular feedback
- Prepare materials and resources for use in the classroom
- Attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and progress
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Experience:
- Adult education: 1 year (Required)
