Work Schedule: M-F 8-5

Payroll Specialist

A leading global growth equity firm providing capital and strategic support for growth companies is looking for Payroll Specialist. Ability to work in a face-paced environment and retain professionalism and accuracy. A dynamic person who can work across all offices globally with cross-cultural awareness and clear communication.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

· Support the Director in managing all aspects of semi-monthly and monthly payroll administration, including salary, bonus, overtime, and reimbursement payments

· Help maintain standard operating procedures and payroll manuals for each country for audit purposes

· Maintain payroll calendars and payroll checklists to ensure we meet all deadlines and communicate them to employees and broader HCM team

· Collaborate with Finance & Accounting team by providing ad hoc reports throughout the year and during the annual audit processes

· Perform regular audits of Time & Attendance, Pay, HR and Benefits data in Workday

· Maintain pension and time and attendance accrual information for quarterly accounting reporting

· Engage with employees to resolve questions and work through issues

· Ensure accurate and timely coordination for tax and reporting (e.g., W-2 and international equivalents)

· Communicate effectively with Safeguard and TMF (payroll vendors), global controllers and employees

· Maintain confidentiality of any payroll, private employee information and any proprietary information and ensure payroll information is secure

· Support day to day integration activities which require interaction with global resources across multiple geographic locations

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

· Minimum Associates degree required

· Minimum 3 years of experience working in a payroll position

· Experience with U.S. payroll required and at least one international country preferred

· Strong attention to detail with the ability to be proactive, solve problems, think ahead, and multi-task daily

· High energy and positive can-do attitude

· Ability to work in a face-paced environment and retain professionalism and accuracy

· Ability to work across all offices globally with cross-cultural awareness and clear communication

· Demonstrable project management skills, including with multiple internal and external stakeholders

· Ability to juggle a high-volume workload and competing priorities; while knowing how to escalate issues or ask clarifying questions

· A strong work ethic and motivated, flexible nature, team-player spirit, ability to maintain composure

· Competency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word

· Experience working with Workday HRIS preferred.

· Experience working with Safeguard Global Payroll or TMF Payroll beneficial but not required

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: Up to $30.00 per hour
