Our Personal Assistants support our senior leaders, providing a proactive, efficient and confidential service to them. They manage, organise and plan to ensure that the senior leaders have the right things at the right time.
This job is busy, you will be doing a wide range of daily tasks including, reviewing and managing emails, booking in appointments, taking notes at meetings as well as writing up documents and correspondence. This role is fast paced and daily priorities can be changeable, so you need to be a quick thinker and find the best solution to completing deadlines or requests in a timely manner.
This vacancy will support the senior leaders in our Neighbourhood & Partnership Directorate.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to join us in an administrative position, you will gain lots of insight into our organisation in this post. What do you need?
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Previous administration experience
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages
- Experience of arranging and preparing meetings
- To be able to demonstrate our Organisations values.

Avon and Somerset Police encourage flexible working where operationally possible.
This role has been identified as a blended role.
The successful candidate for this role will have the opportunity to work from home whilst also at a secondary work location, which will be a police premises. The successful applicant will have the option to discuss working arrangements with their line manager. All applicants must reside within the UK.
