Schedule: Part Time
Shift: Days includes every 4th weekend and may need to work an occasional evening shift (2:30pm-11pm)
Location: AdventHealth Hendersonville
The role you’ll contribute: Prepares and organizes pharmacy medications by name and dosage, as listed on patient orders. To provide safe and accurate medication services and to support all those involved in direct patient care.
The value you’ll bring to the team
- Maintains operational expertise in and actively provides coverage of the technician services provided by Central Pharmacy, IV Room, Delivery, Controlled Substances
- Oversees appropriate utilization of medication automation, technology, and computer systems
- Accurately oversees the management of medication inventories and the preparation and delivery of patient‐specific medication doses

- Mentors new-staff and assists with training
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
- High school degree
- Registered Pharmacy Technician in their respective state or within 90 days based on state requirement
- If applicable to facility Sterile Compounding Certification
