Hello,

Come and join us in our state-of-the-art facilities in Hammond, LA! We have an open position for a Phlebotomist to join us full-time or part-time at our plasma donation center.

Our FDA-licensed facilities are dedicated to the collection of human plasma from donors. Human plasma is used to make special medications to help treat and prevent infections in patients.

Job Summary:

• The Phlebotomist is responsible for ensuring the safety of donors and purity of product as a result of the plasma collection process.
• This position must monitor the donor throughout the collection process for possible equipment errors, donor reactions, or any unexpected events and must take appropriate actions should any unexpected event occur.
• This position is required to strictly adhere to all regulations and maintain the confidentiality of all personnel, donor and center information.
• The Phlebotomist may be asked to assist with the administrative duties to support the Donor Center.
• Occupational Exposure to blood borne pathogens.
• Work requires extended periods of standing and bending.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy Technician Certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year Phlebotomy experience.
• Previous experience as a phlebotomist in a blood or plasma collection center preferred.
• CPR certified or the ability to obtain certification preferred.
• Annual GMP training.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to lift, pull, tug up to 40lbs.

** Available to work extended shifts and rotating weekends**

** Must be available to work any days Sunday - Saturday**
