Assists clinical staff during patient care activities in the administration of rehabilitative procedures and treatments of various types of geriatric, adult, adolescent, child and infant patients. Duties include: preparation/restoration of treatment areas and equipment; maintaining adequate supply levels through inventory monitoring and ordering; checking equipment used for safety standards, assisting front office personnel and other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification for all age groups.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED
- Prior patient care experience in the hospital environment as a PT or OT Aide with working knowledge of PT/OT/ST services.
