As a Product Manager in the Automation team, for our Surface Division, you will play an important part in shaping our future by bringing competitive, profitable and innovative automation and digitalization solutions for our drills to our current and potential customers, addressing their current and future needs.


Role:

  • Be the CEO of your products: develop, grow, and lead the industry with profitable value driven solutions
  • Research competition and perform competitive analysis. Maintain a portfolio of competitor information along with competitive comparisons for the sales force.
  • Participate in customer visits to the factory, and host visits when discussing the technology and automation features of the product.
  • Develop and execute road map for product range in line with strategy and mission; complimenting the other Automation Products
  • Develop and maintain a prioritized back log based on maximum value to our customer base, working closely with the appropriate Engineering leads and team members.
  • Facilitate discovery sessions between development team and experts in the given field.
  • Visits customers and products in the field on a regular basis to understand climate, areas of improvement, and future products.
  • Lead product releases to include strategy, material, training plan, etc...to ensure will succeed when launched
  • Support the sales organization to define specific technology automation projects at mine sites and the requirements needed from both the customer and the product.
  • Work with Communications personnel to develop and maintain product specifications, literature, presentations, video, animation and case studies.
  • Assist in identifying issues with automation product implementation and liaise with MRS and Engineering for resolution.


Experience & Education:

  • BS in engineering or business, other degrees and equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Computer Skills - Microsoft Office, Jira, and other software management tools required.
  • Experience leading AGILE development teams is required.
  • Experience with earth moving equipment or similar mobile equipment is a plus.
