Summary of Duties:

The CRM Project Coordinator for Student Affairs Marketing and Communications manages email communications to students, faculty, and staff that increase awareness of Student Affairs programs and priorities. The coordinator acts as the department's CRM campaigning expert, building and sending emails, managing audience segmentation and lists, gathering metrics, and creating reports on email campaign performance that help inform the department's email strategy. This position will also gather and analyze data from social media, websites, and other platforms. This position will assess content, data, and reach to improve and expand upon Student Affairs campaigns.

Required Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in English, communications, journalism, humanities, public relations, OR related field AND one (1) year of writing/editing/public relations experience; OR equivalent education/experience.
  • Experience creating and managing large email lists: tagging, segmenting, cleanup, and maintenance.
  • Experience with data management and using data analysis to pull out relevant information to inform future email strategies.
  • Experience building digital communications, including logic and variable data models.
  • Experience creating, evaluating, and improving email policies and practices.
  • Knowledge of content accessibility standards and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience in marketing, communications, business, or a related field and 2 years of professional experience in email marketing, communications, data analysis, or related work.
  • Demonstrated experience building emails or digital communications using a variety of templates and layouts.
  • Demonstrated ability to work quickly and accurately on tight deadlines.
  • Ability to create accessible, informative email and digital campaign performance reports for a variety of colleagues, from top leadership to peers.
  • Experience in gathering data and creating reports for other mediums such as social media and websites.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, error-free work.
  • Familiarity with Slate and Mailchimp CRM tools.
  • Experience creating and editing HTML-based documents.
  • Ability to copy, edit, and proofread is a plus.

Monthly Salary:

Range 47, $3,821.00 - $5,136.00 (Steps A - M) | Successful candidates typically begin at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28.
